The mission of the Veterans Committee of Harvey County (VCHC) is to assist local Veterans, Troops and their families in any way we can. We conduct service projects like painting homes, updating homes for physical needs, etc.

We work to promote Patriotism and Americanism in the Community through awareness projects like the Veterans Day Parade, TroopFest and through our scholarship program. Our goal is to make sure “Our Community Never Forgets” our Veterans, Troops and the service they gave to our Country.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to: Active Duty Service Members, Retired/Prior Service Members, Family Members (Spouse, Children (Paternial/ Adopted), Grand Children, Grand Parents, Aunts/Uncles/ Cousins/ Nieces/Nephews of a Veteran), and Social Members (Persons with no Military Connection, but who support our Veterans and Troops).

If you are interested in becoming a member click here to download a Membership Application and
mail it to VCHC Membership, 1220 Columbus Circle, Newton, KS, 67114 with a check or money
order payable to the Veterans Committee of Harvey County for the amount of $10.00 per person
per year.

We are a non-profit organization supported only through membership dues, private business donations, public donations, fund raisers, and federal/state grants.
